Why aren't product URLs appearing in my emails?

Kit's API doesn't provide product URLs, so you need to paste yours manually:

  1. When creating a campaign, select your product
  2. You'll see a "Product URL" input field
  3. Go to your Kit dashboard → Products → Your Product
  4. Copy the product URL (e.g., https://your-name.kit.com/products/your-product)
  5. Paste it into the Kitlytics product URL field
  6. Generate your campaign

💡 Tip: The exact URL you paste will be used in your email campaigns, so make sure it's correct before generating!

Common Issues & Solutions

🔴 "Generation Failed" Error

Solution: This usually means there's not enough data in your Kit account. Make sure you have:

  • At least one product with sales history (for product launch campaigns)
  • Active subscribers in your account
  • Your Kit account is properly connected

🔴 Campaign not deploying to Kit

Solution: Check these steps:

  • Your Kit OAuth connection is still active (reconnect if needed)
  • You have permission to create broadcasts in Kit
  • Your Kit plan supports API access
  • Check Kit dashboard - campaigns are saved as drafts first

🔴 No products showing up

Solution: Kit API only shows products that have at least one sale. If you have products but no sales yet:

  • Make a test purchase in Kit to register the product
  • Or use the "Nurture" or "Custom" campaign types that don't require products
